How Much Are OneTouch Delica Lancets Worth?
Lancets are the item people bin without thinking, and it's a small mistake repeated constantly. We buy OneTouch Delica lancets in both gauges, listed above, each priced on its own tier according to how much time is left before the expiration date.
We buy only the expiration windows shown in those tables, and those windows shift as our stock turns over.
30G and 33G Are Different Products
Delica lancets come in two gauges, and the number matters:
- Delica 30G — the thicker of the two.
- Delica 33G — the thinner. In needle gauge, a higher number means a finer needle.
People choose between them for real reasons — comfort, how easily they draw a sample, what a clinician recommended — so demand exists separately for each. That's why we list and price them separately rather than lumping them together as "lancets".
The gauge is printed on the box. Check it before requesting a quote, because the two cartons look nearly identical and the number is the only thing distinguishing them.
Yes, Lancets Expire
This catches people out. A lancet is a sterile single-use item, and sterility has a shelf life — so the box carries an expiration date, and we buy against expiration windows just as we do with test strips.
Which means a box of Delica sitting in a drawer is on the same clock as everything else in the cupboard. If you've stopped fingersticking, they're worth checking now rather than at some point.
Send Them With Your Strips
Lancets are light and cheap to ship, and they travel perfectly well alongside test strips in the same parcel. Almost everyone with spare Delica lancets also has spare OneTouch Ultra or Verio strips, so the sensible move is one shipment covering both.
On their own, a couple of boxes is a modest amount. Added to a strip shipment you were sending anyway, it's money for no extra effort — same free label, same payment.
What We Can't Buy
- Opened or unsealed boxes. Sterility is the whole product — an opened carton can't be passed on.
- Medicare or Medicaid supplies. Government-funded product cannot legally be resold.
- Boxes outside the expiration windows currently listed above.
- Damaged packaging — crushed, water-stained, torn labels, or written on.
- Loose lancets with no original box.
