True Metrix, TrueTest and the older TRUEtrack family
Trividia has used several similar names over the years, and they are not the same strips. True Metrix works with True Metrix, True Metrix Air and True Metrix Go meters. TrueTest is the older line and has its own listings. If the box says TrueTest rather than True Metrix, it does not belong on this listing.
If the printing on your box is worn or you are working from a pile someone else assembled, photograph it and send it over. We identify these routinely and would rather sort it before you ship than after.
Retail versus mail order and NFR boxes
True Metrix reaches people through pharmacy shelves and through mail order suppliers, and the boxes differ. Some non-retail boxes are marked NFR — not for retail sale. We buy those too, but they are a different listing, and one of them asks you to match the picture exactly rather than just the count. That instruction is there because production runs vary and a box that looks close but prints differently is a different product downstream.
Expiration
Remaining shelf life drives what a box is worth more than anything else. We state our requirement in months of remaining life rather than a fixed calendar date, because the windows we buy in change from time to time as demand moves. If your date does not reach what the listing asks for, we are not buying that box right now, and it is worth knowing that before you pay to ship it.
Condition
Boxes need to be factory sealed and unopened, with no writing, no torn patches from removed pharmacy labels, no water staining and no crushed corners. An opened box cannot be resold and cannot be quoted, even if the vial inside has not been touched.
